人間の周辺視野における周波数応答特性とそのモデル

Temporal frequuecy response characteristics of peripheral region of human retinas are measured with using flicker fusion phenomenon. The result of psychological measurement shows that the peripheral region of retina has band-pass characteristics and is available to detect moving stimuli. A mathematical model of the retina is also proposed. The frequency characteristics of the model fits to the experimental results.
