伊豆味地区の農業用水確保に関しては, 地質的条件を考慮すると, 自然ブランケットを活かした取水堰と道路の水兼化による集水施設の建設が適切である。また, 樹園地の開畑・整備にあたっては, 土地環境保全型の畑面・園内作業道整備および防風林の整備が望まれる。崎山地区の排水不良問題に関しては, 排水路の底面は浸透性の地質層序を活かし, 側面のみをコンクリート張りにする。
Problems on the agricultural infrastructure improvement in model districts of rural revitalization, Izumi and Sakiyama of Okinawa prefecture, were considered, and suitable countermeasures were proposed. In Izumi district, according to the geological research results, the passable ditch and the diversion weir utilizing natural impervious blanket are effective measures for catching and storing of rain water. For the reclamation and improvement of orchard land, the preservation of land environment, the installation of a work road in the orchard and a wind break fence are desired. For the settlement of the poor drainage problem in Sakiyama district, the drainage canal had no concrete bottom was proposed considering a high permeability of the foundation geology.
