From the leaves and fruit of Casuarina equisetifolia J. R. & G. Forst, seven triterpenoids, β-amyrin acetate, taraxerol acetate, lupenone, β-amyrin, glutinol, lupeol, and taraxerol, two flavonoids, kaempfero1-3-α-L-arabinoside and kaempfero1-3-α-L-rhamnoside (afzelin), were isolated together with gallic acid, β-sitosterol, and aliphatic compounds. These compounds were identified by the comparison of their physical and spectral data with those of their respective authentic sample or with those described in the literature.
