Acoustic gain and maximum output sound pressure level of hearing aid of already hearing aided children were measured for a better fitting of hearing aid on infantile candidates and following results were obtained. 1. Acoustic gain of tested hearing aids of majority was determined to be 31-50dB SPL at input level of 70dB SPL. 2. Maximum output sound pressure level of hearing aid was found to be 111-140dB SPL in cases of children with hearing loss over 80dB. Based on the results of this study, hearing aid candidates with severe hearing loss are recommended to adjust their hearing aids at the levels of these data.
