 note = {Sanshin is three stringed musical instruments in Okinawa. In spite of Sanshin appeared in Okinawa for 600 years ago, it has not been scientifically analyzed the characteristics and its timbre as a musical instrument. So far, we have performed the comparison between Sanshin and another stringed musical instruments (piano and guitar) in their waveforms, spectra, the physical feature analysis of the timbre of Sanshin, the analysis about the influence of the resonance of its body, and about the characteristic of the Sao(Sao is the neck of Sanshin). This paper describes the equipment for picking a bowstring of Sanshin at the same speed in the same strength.
