This condition could mislead the effective algorithm in finding the echo path replica. In this paper, we have defined a new algorithm for tap adaptations in the echo canceler based on correlation function (CLMS), where the near-end signal is existing. In this approach, the gradient search algorithm is obtained from the correlation function of the input signal.
