Based on observations, some suggestions were made regarding the improvement of education in Tokashiki. 1) Science manuals for Classes combining students of different years should be developed early on in the year to maximize flexibility in the curriculum. 2) Physical education curriculum should take into consideration class members, the community and social environment of that particular area. 3) As junior high school children tend to act as teachers in many situations, combining junior high and elementary school children in various activities is likely to be advantageous to students. 4) In regard to computing classes combining students of different years, conventional methods utilizing software installed in computers is thought to be more effective than using distance computer education as students of one year may work through drills while others are taught by the teacher., 紀要論文}, pages = {237--261}, title = {離島における教育現場の現状報告 : 離島・へき地教育に関する長崎-鹿児島-琉球,三大学連携事業による渡嘉敷村での教育事情視察} }
