It was conducted under some given strains. Herein. some experimental results conducted under given uniform load and non-uniform load are shown.\nThe experiment was conducted in three kind of relative densities (Loose state:D_r = 60%, Dense state: D_r = 80%). and the air dry TOYOURA uniform sand was used. The shearing test are consist of three cases. such as : 1) Single direction shearing, 2) Repelitional shearing under the uniform load, 3) Repetitional shearing under the non-uniform load. The load are in the range of 50 ~ 90 % of the maximum shear stress.\nThe following results are obtained : 1) The shearing strength after repetitional test was affected by the change of density during test, and also affected by the confining pressures. 2) Internal friction angle φ is determined by the void ratio e and the interparticle friction angle φ_μ. 3) the relationship between equivalent hysteretic damping h and shearing modulus G are approximately linear.
