Measuring methods for social-cultural cognition, self-esteem, and social adjustment were examined on the college students from Okinawa and outside of Okinawa. Based on the results of these measuring methods, the following findings were obtained. 1) Students from Okinawa have more positive social-cultural cognition on their home prefecture than the students from outside of Okinawa. Regarding self-esteem, however, no significant difference was recognized between the two groups.
