Investigated plots were Oku, 3 different elevation at Yaedake, Kakazu, Science field center in Ryukyu Univ., Yogi and Yaese. Investigations were carried out by dividing 10grades on flowering and leaf expanding aspects with more than 50 trees. Moreover, flowering duration on each plant at Kakazu and Science field center in Ryukyu univ. were investigated particularly. Development of flower bud during fall season were also checked and convenient method for color concentration with Prunus campanulata was devised using by RGB color analysis of Adobe Photoshop. The outline of results obtained are as follows. 1. Locational differences among investigated plots and individual differences among each plant in the same group related with flowering time and flowering duration were clearly observed. 2. Flowering time of each plant was recognized earlier at north and high places and moved to south and low places. It means accumulation of low temperature satisfied at cool aerea in earlier time and it is a key point for flowering to this plant. 3. Abnormal flowers such as 6 petals and 2 pistils were recognized rarely and flowers having deep to light color were observed frequently. 4. As a convenient method of numerical value for flower color was devised as mentioned in text. 5. All trees of Prunus campanulata planted in Okinawa are siblings.
