the mutagenesis in which the photosynthesis type changed from crassulacean acid metabolism (CAM) to the C_3 photosynthesis type using gamma-ray acute irradiation in kalanchoe pinnata, Ceylon Benkei, 内容記述 本報では, セイロンベンケイソウにガンマ線を照射することで, 光合成型がCAMからC_3型へ変更する突然変異誘発を試みた。以下はその結果の要約である。1) 培養においてセイロンベンケイソウの葉片は, 2,4-D, BA各0.5ppmを添加した培地において脱分化し, NAA, BA各0.5ppmを添加した培地において多芽形成した。2) コントロール区に対し各処理区において変動係数が増大したが, 特に培養+照射区に広い変異が見られ, 培養と照射を組み合わせることで変異率を高めることができた。3) △リンゴ酸については, 5Gyの急照射においてコントロール個体の約半分の値を示す個体が得られた。4) 気孔密度は培養+照射区, 及び培養+コルヒチン区において減少傾向を示し, 照射のみの区において増加傾向を示した。5) 孔辺細胞長は培養+照射区, 及び培養+コルヒチン区において増加傾向を示し, 照射のみの区において減少傾向を示した。
