 note = {This study examines the actual conditions and problems of processing and distribution of timber produced in Okinawa Prefecture. Research in this field was done from November 1995 to March 1996. Timber resources in forest are poor in quantity and quality and therefore it is difficult to supply to customers a stable and quantity of construction timber and wooden ware timber today. Wood processing industry has not been developed enough and is still very poor. Many woodworkers manage their works in small scale. They produce and sell many kinds of goods, but each goods they produced are a little in quantity. Distribution channel of log, lumber and timber processing goods are not arranged enough. There are a lot of potential demands to timber produced in Okinawa. It is very important to turn timber potential demands up for the promotion of forestry and timber processing industry in the future., 紀要論文},
