 note = {沖縄本島南部地域の湧水の特性と周辺環境を基に類型化を試みるとともに, 湧水に対する住民の意識・行動を調査・分析した。結果は以下の通りである。湧水は, 自然, 社会, 生産, レクリエーションといった多面的な機能を備えており, すぐれた地域資源といえる。湧水の利活用を考えるとき, 湧水の個々の特徴が発揮されるような整備計画とすることが重要である。湧水は自然型, 集落型, 農地型, 公園型の4つに類型化できた。自然型の特性は, 湧水の形態が自然に近い状態にあり, 湧水周辺の自然環境が豊かである。集落型は村落と密接に関わっており管理が行き届いている。農地型は, 農地内にあって, 農業用水としても十分利用され, 湧水の周辺に小規模ながら自然が残されている。公園型は, 湧水を利用した公園として整備され, 都市近郊農村などの住宅が多い所では手軽に水と触れ合える場所になっている。湧水に訪れる人は徒歩によるものがほとんどであり, その利用頻度は集落型で高く, 自然型で低かった。湧水と住宅との距離が利用頻度を左右しており, 利用頻度の高い湧水に対して親近感をもつ人が多いようである。利用内容は自然型, 集落型, 公園型で散歩や拝みが多く, 農地型では農業用水としての利用が最も多い。農地型では湧水が生産手段の一部として認識されているのに対して, 集落型や公園型では生活環境やレクリエーション空間の一部であるという認識が強い。, Evaluation and utilization of springs-wells in the southern part of Okinawa Island were considered, and following results were obtained. Springs-wells may be divided into four types based on our study, namely, natural type, settlement-type, farmland-type and park-type. The human perception concerning the spring-well differs in its pattern and feature. For the springs-wells of natural type, it is expected to install a walk for visitors in maintenance of preservation of the natural environment. For the springs-wells of settlement-type, the utilization as a place of recreation and relaxation and the daily water-use are expected. For the springs-wells of farmland-type, the utilization as agricultural water and a place of recreation and relaxation are considered. For the springs-wells of park-type, the good or bad condition of maintenance of the water amenity facilities governs the evaluation and the utilization of these improvement projects. We need to recognize the historical and cultural value of springs-wells, and such the valuable springs-wells should be utilized as a place of study. Springs-wells are waterside spots, which have natural, social, productive and recreational functions, and it is not too much to say that they are superior regional resources., 紀要論文},
