University of the Ryukyus}, note = {6週齢のWistar系雌ラットにAIN-93G標準食を自由摂食させながら1週間予備飼育した後,自由食群と食餌制限群に分けた。自由食群は標準食を自由摂取させた。食餌制限群は標準食群,標準食中のタンパク質を2倍にした群,ビタミンとミネラルを2倍にした群,脂肪を2倍にした群,ビタミン,ミネラル,タンパク質を2倍にした群の5群をつくって3週間50%食餌制限し,大腿骨の破断エネルギー等を調べ,骨粗鬆症を誘発するか研究した。1. 3週間の食餌制限でラットの体重は約10g減少した。自由食群では約35g増加した。2.食餌制限群の骨の長さが有意に短くなった。3.大腿骨の骨塩量,骨密度,骨破断エネルギーはどタミン,ミネラルが所要量みたしている群も含め,すべての食餌制限群で有意に減少したが,X線透過濃度は逆に有意に高くなり,7週齢の雌ラットを3週間50%食餌制限すると骨粗鬆症を誘発した。4.子宮の重量は,食餌制限すると有意に減少した。このことは,食餌制限により誘発した骨粗鬆症は子宮が小さくなり,エストロゲンが欠乏し,誘発したと推察された。, Six-weeks-old female Wister strain rats were kept on standard feed prepared according to AIN-93G for 1 week before commencing the experiment. Then, the animals were divided into control group (group 1) fed ad libitum standard feed and 5 groups (group 2-6) of a diets as it is, doubled protein, mineral and vitamin, fat, and mineral, vitamin and protein, respectively maintained under 50% diet for 3 weeks. One group contained 5 rats. Breaking power of the femur, bone density and density of X-ray picture were examined to check introduction of osteoporosis by diet. 1. Body weight dropped about 10g for 3 weeks by a diet of 50%. 2. Length of bone were significantly short at all restricted groups. 3. Bone density, mineral content and breaking power notably decreased in all diet groups, but density of picture of X-ray raised. Dieting by 50% percent diet of seven weeks age female rat for three weeks certainly caused osteoporosis. 4.
