As of vast distribution scope, the H. scoparium differs quietly in different areas. In this paper, firstly, we tried to divide the H. scoparium by the method of cluster analysis based on the morphological data set of branch and leaf sampled from both of its' natural distribution and introduced areas, then discussed it's dissociation process according to the observation to the seedling growth process and results of primary component analysis on the climatic characteristics across the whole area of distribution. It was founded that, 1), H. scoparium can be divided into two ecotypes, i.e. non-leaflet and poly-leafleat ecotypes; 2), these two ecotypes differs mainly in the amount and rate of compound leaf and needle-like leaf; 3), the morphological variation process differs from each other of these two ecotypes in the seedling stage; 4), the dissociation of H. scoparium could be due to the climatic change in ancient time., 紀要論文}, pages = {121--130}, title = {花棒の生態分化について : 耐乾性植物の花棒に関する基礎研究 (I)} }
