The results of investigation were summarized as follows : 1) Average germination rates of Distylium racemosum and Podocarpus macrophyllus were 99.7% and 99.2%, respectively. Dead trees were not found even 3 years after the planting. 2) The germination rate of Garcinia subelliptica was the greatest at the initial stage of the improvement cutting plots and was not varied among the plots at 8 months after the seeding. 3) Annual growth rate of height was not different in a degree of statistical singnificance among the plots or plants.
