However the number of Tarama's goat has been decreasing in recent years. If we utilize wasteland, unused arable land, and wild grass for raising goat, we can increase the number of goat. Tarama Son and Agricultural Cooperative Union must incorporate goat in the Agricultural Production Promotion Plan for increasing the number of raising goat in Tarama Son once more. Currently, there is no slaughtering and processing facilities for goat in Tarama Son. For dietary hygiene, the slaughtering and processing facilities for goat must equpped. The goats produced in Tarama Son were sold by the few indiviual farmers. They could not increase number of goat for selling because of their limited market information. Agricultural Cooporative Union can obtain supply and demand information of goat from all over the prefecture.
