The conclutions are as follows. (I) Maximum dry density of general Kunigami-Maaji soils obtained from compaction test, show the value in a range of 1.35-1.60t/m^3. (2) Relationship between 1/ρ_<dmax> and optimum moisture become linear and it can be shown that : 1/ρ_<dmax>=0.371+0.0114 W_<opt>.
