Mixing ratio was one to one. Ten percent sugar cane molasses, on wet basis, before diluting with twofold of water was added to these mixed materials to be ensiled in order to improve their fermentation. Aliquot amount of each mixed materials at ensiling time and fer mented samples at 2,4,7,21 and 70 days of fermentation were taken for the determination of pH, moisture content, organic acid and soluble carbohydrate to assess their fermentation and quality. Each mixed silage showed very significant decrease in pH value within 7 days of fermentation. The PH values at 70 days of preservation ranged from 3.9 to 4.0,except 4.5 for LLDW-SCT silage. Lactic acid concentrations varied from 1.2% to 3.4%. The values for the mixed silages of LLDW-NG and LLDW-SCT at 7 days of fermentation were higher than those for the other treatments, with the respective figures being 3.0%, 2.5% and 2.6%. Thereafter until 70th day, no significant changes of lactic acid levels in these three mixed silages were observed, while the values for the treatment groups of LLDW-SPL and LLDW-PAL showed gradual increase with advances in the fermentation stages. Concentrations of acetic acid gave no changes at 7 days of ensiling with a range from 0.07% to 0.12%. Small amount of butyric acid was found in 21 day LLDW-SCT and 70 day LLDW-PAL silages. Disappearance rate of soluble carbohydrate at 70 days of preservation was in a range from 70% to 81%. From the evaluation of criteria such as pH, composition of organic acid, color, flavor and the sense of touch at 70 days of fermentation, it was found that all treatment groups, except LLDW-SCT and LLSW-PAL treatments, result in good quality silages.
