The average maximum of room temperature in Okinawa ranges from 30 to 33 degree C during the period from July to August. It is generally known in Okinawa that the ratio of egg production and the eggshell thickness shows a marked declination during this period. The purpose of this experiment was to investigate the effect of supplementing Ascorbic acid, Cacium ascorbate and L+calcium lactate respectively with laying hen's diet on egg production and egg quality in the hot weather for two months.
