Physical and chemical properties and clay minerals of soil profiles at Tanahara, Nishihara-cho and Shinzato, Sashiki-cho, Okinawa Island (Department of Agricultural Chemistry)","subitem_1551255648112":"en"}]},"item_1617186419668":{"attribute_name":"Creator","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"渡嘉敷, 義浩","creatorNameLang":"ja"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"田里, 明","creatorNameLang":"ja"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"志茂, 守孝","creatorNameLang":"ja"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Tokashiki, Yoshihiro","creatorNameLang":"en"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Tasato, Akira","creatorNameLang":"en"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Shimo, Moritaka","creatorNameLang":"en"}]}]},"item_1617186476635":{"attribute_name":"Access Rights","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_1522299639480":"open access","subitem_1600958577026":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2"}]},"item_1617186626617":{"attribute_name":"Description","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"泥(灰)岩層の上部に琉球石灰岩層および\"島尻マージ\"が堆積する, 沖縄本島中部の西原町棚原(O-32)および南部の佐敷町新里(O-33)土壌(層)断面について, 理化学性や粘土鉱物および1次鉱物組成などの特徴を調べた。そして, 土層間に堆積する特異的な灰白色土層の生成および諸性質の発現を考察し, さらに粘土部分中の鉱物の起源を推察した。棚原(O-32)断面では, 泥(灰)岩層の上部に約1mの琉球石灰岩層だけが堆積した。1∿5層の泥灰岩層は11∿13%の炭酸カルシウムを含有し, 軽埴土やシルト質埴壌土および埴壌土質の弱アルカリ性を示した。CEC, 置換性塩基量およびリン酸吸収係数はいずれも新里(O-33)断面の泥灰岩層よりかなり高い特徴を示した。有機炭素量は1層では約2%, 他の層では0.5%以下をそれぞれ示した。主要粘土鉱物はMtやItで, 他にVt, Kt, Vt-Chが随伴した。5層だけはVt-Chの代わりにChが随伴した。1次鉱物組成は主にQzと少量のFdで, 他にCaとCbの随伴が土層によって異なった。同断面の泥岩層(6層)は, 既往の報告には見られない特徴を示した。最下層部の6層は酸性で, リン酸吸収係数が2200mg/100gの砂壌土質を示した。CEC, 置換性CaおよびMgは64,40および7me/100gをそれぞれ示した。置換性KとNaおよび有機炭素量は1me/100gおよび0.5%以下をそれぞれ示した。粘土鉱物はMtだけがほとんど主体を占め, 他にごく少量のItが随伴した。1次鉱物はQzが主で, 他にFdとCbが付随した。棚原(O-32)断面では上層から下層へ粒径組成が粗く, 上層ほど粘土部分にはMtが減少し, シルト部分にはQzが濃縮される傾向の鉱物組成の量的変化が示唆された。そのことから, 同断面の堆積当初は粘土鉱物がほとんどMtからなる砂壌土質の泥岩層であって, その後石灰岩層下の堆積環境条件のもとで当初の泥岩層が風化生成作用を受け, その上層部分が泥灰岩層の特徴を帯びるようになったことを推察した。新里(O-33)断面では, 泥灰岩層(4∿7層)上部の約80cmの石灰岩層上にさらに厚い\"島尻マージ\"(1∿3層)が堆積した。泥灰岩層は 4∿7%の炭酸カルシウムを含有し, シルト質埴土の弱アルカリ性を示した。CECおよび置換性Caは16∿22および9∿18me/100g, 置換性MgおよびKとNaは4および1me/100g以下をそれぞれ示した。リン酸吸収係数は700∿1500mg/100g, 有機炭素量は0.5%以下をそれぞれ示した。主要粘土鉱物はItで, 他にMt, Vt, Ktが随伴し, さらに上層ではVt-Ch, 下層ではChが随伴した。1次鉱物組成は主にQzと少量のFdで, 他にCaとCbの付随が土層間で異なった。","subitem_description_type":"Other"},{"subitem_description":"他方, 琉球石灰岩層上の有機炭素量0.5%以下,リン酸吸収係数1100∿1200mg/100gの重埴土質の\"島尻マージ\"では, 1層と3層との諸性質がよく類似し2層とはかなり異なった。1層と3層の反応は中性付近(2層では強酸性), 炭酸カルシウム含量は1%前後(2層では0.5%以下), 粘土含量は50%前後(2層では76%), CECは30me/100g(2層では22me/100g)および置換性Caは15me/100g(2層では4me/100g)をそれぞれ示した。It, Vt, Kt, (1層ではCh)が主要粘土鉱物で, 他にVt-Chが随伴した。1次鉱物のほとんどがQzで, 他にごく少量のFd(2層ではCbも共存)を付随した。新里(O-33)断面では, 長期間の土壌生成作用を受けて溶脱の激しく進行した古い\"島尻マージ\"の堆積物が, 石灰岩層上部に堆積することを推察した。そして, 表層の\"島尻マージ\"は別の場所から運搬・堆積された土層として推察した。両土壌(層)断面では, 琉球石灰岩層下の泥灰岩層にいずれも際立つた灰白色の土層が存在した。その灰白色土層の生成に及ぼす特定の因子は, 両土層の理化学性や鉱物組成の特徴だけからは明らかにできなかった。しかし, 石灰岩層が重要な1つの因子であることはまちがいないと思われる。またこれまでの研究成果も考慮して, 泥(灰)岩層中に存在するMtは, 泥(灰)岩層の起源の質的差異に起因することが大きく, その当時のMtが種々の堆積環境条件下で風化生成を受けていることを推察した。","subitem_description_type":"Other"},{"subitem_description":"Two soil profiles were selected in two places of Okinawa Island in order to characterize physical, chemical and mineralogical properties of the soil in relation to the underlying deposit materials. And special attentions were payed to the unique light gray colored layers interlain for their genesis. Furthermore conjectured were the appearance of physico-chemical properties and the origin of minerals in the soil layers. These two profiles consisted of reddish brown soils which were locally called 'Shimajiri maaji', Ryukyu limestone and marl (or mudstone) in descending order. One soil profile (No. O-32) was located at Tanahara, Nishi hara-cho of the middle part of Okinawa Island and the other profile (No. O-33) was at Shinzato, Sashiki-cho of the southern part. At Tanahara profile (No.O-32) the marl (or mudstone) deposit was overlain by an about 1m thick layer of Ryukyu limestone on which 'Shimajiri maaji' accumulated little. The marl deposit from the 1st to the 5th layers contained 11 to 13 percent calcium carbonate. They showed slightly alkaline reaction, and had textures of light clay to clay loam. The CEC, exchangeable bases and phosphorus absorption coefficient were considerably higher in these layers than those in marl deposit of the other soil profile (No. O-33). The 1st layer contained 2 percent organic carbon, and the other layers were less than 0.5 percent. The major crystalline minerals in the clay fraction were montmorillonite and illite accompanied by a minor amount of vermiculite, kaolin minerals and vermiculite-chlorite intergrade which was replaced by chlorite only in the 5th layer. The primary mineral in the silt fraction was mainly consisted of quartz accompanied by a small amount of feldspars, calcite and/or cristobalite. A new information of the data for the mineralogy and physico-chemical properties was given in the lowest mudstone deposit at Tanahara soil profile (No. O-32). The mudstone (6th layer) showed acid reaction, 2200mg/100g of phosphorus absorption coefficient, and sandy loam texture. The CEC, and exchangeable calcium and magnesium were 64,40 and 7me/100g, respectively. And this 6th layer contained less than 1me/100g of exchangeable potassium and sodium, and 0.5 percent organic carbon. On the other hand, at Shinzato profile (No. O-33) the marl deposit overlain by an about 80cm thick layer of Ryukyu limestone on which 'Shimajiri maaji' was formed with considerable thickness. The marl deposit from the 4th to the 7th layers contained 4 to 7 percent calcium carbonate, and were slightly alkaline in reaction and silty clay in texture. The value for CEC and exchangeable calcium was 16 to 22 and 9 to 18me/100g, respectively, and for phosphorus absorption coefficient 700 to 1500mg/100g. And these marl deposit were less than 4me/100g in exchangeable magnesium, 1me/100g in the both of exchangeable potassium and sodium, and 0.5 percent in organic carbon.
