From examination of mitotic chromosomes of cultured lymphocytes which were prepared with conventional and C- and G-banding procedures, the centric fusion was thought to involve chromosomes number 1 and 29 of the bovine karyotype. The abnormal chromosome was apparently inherited from his sire because his dam had a normal karyotype, whereas three of six paternal half-sibs had the translocation. The sire himself was not karyotyped. Five body measurements and judged score were made on progeny (at about 26 months of age) of the translocation carrying bull and other chromosomally normal bulls. No significant differences were noted., 紀要論文}, pages = {285--292}, title = {黒毛和種種雄牛由来の染色体の Centric Fusion(畜産学科)}, year = {1980} }
