University of the Ryukyus}, month = {Dec}, note = {1. 1976年那覇市首里当蔵町で採集したイチハツのモザイク病株からウイルスを分離し, その伝染方法, 寄主範囲およびウイルス粒子の形態について実験を行なった。2.本ウイルスは容易に汁液伝染し, またモモアカアブラムシにより非永続的に伝搬された。8科15種植物に汁液接種したところ, イチハツだけに感染した。イチハツ病株は若葉に退色条斑を生じ, 下葉には淡黄色の輪紋および条斑が現われる。3.イチハツ病葉のdip法および部分純化標品のネガディブ染色試料について電顕観察した結果, ウイルス粒子のnormal lengthは, 760nmで, 幅12∿13nmのひも状粒子が検出された。4.本ウイルスはPVY群に属し, iris fulva mosaic virusに近いウイルスと考えられる。, A virus was isolated from the rhizomatous iris (Iris tectorum Maxim.) plant showing symptoms of concentric yellow rings and elongated chlorotic spots on older leaves and elongated chlorotic spots on younger leaves. The symptoms in the plant infected could be developed during a cool season but could not be induced under an elevated temperature condition. The iris plant infected had no blooming for three years. The virus isolated was easily transmitted by mechanical inoculation and by Myzus persicae in non-persistent manner. The host range of the virus was restricted to Iris tectorum of the plants tested. In leaf-dip preparation, flexuous virus particle had a normal length of 760nm.
