University of the Ryukyus}, month = {Dec}, note = {甘蔗バガスを唯一炭素源とした無機塩培地で泡盛麹菌を培養するにあたってのバガスの前処理条件ならびに培養条件について検討し, 次の結果を得た。バガスはアルカリ処理することによって泡盛麹菌の基質となり, 本菌はアルカリ抽出液含有バガス培地で良好な生育を示した。最も良好な基質となったのは0.5%水酸化ナトリウム溶液を用いて120℃で20分間処理したバガスであった。バガスの粉砕画分による生育度の差はほとんどみられなかった。窒素源としては硫酸アンモニウムが適当で, その最適濃度は0.3%であった。供試麹菌はpH3.5∿6.0の範囲で良好な生育を示した。, This paper reports the cultivation of Aspergillus awamori with a mineral medium containing sugacane bagasse as a sole carbon source. The results obtained were as follow : The effect of alkali treatment of bagasse on the growth of Asp. awamori and culture conditions were investigated. The alkali treatment markedly stimulated the growth of the strain. The strain grew well in a liquid medium containing alkali-treated bagasse and alkali-extract of bagasse as the sole carbon source. The maximal growth was obtained when the bagasse was treated with 0.5% NaOH solution at 120℃ for 20 min. When the strain was cultured on the bagasse having various particle sizes, little difference in the growth was observed. Ammonium sulfate (0.3%) was the most effective nitrogen sources.
