April seeding was a field experiment, May and August seedings were pot experiments. The ranking of the yield comparison was decided by seed weight per 10 are per day. The result was as follows : 1. The dry weight of top and seed yield of the field seeding were far greater than those of the pot seeding. 2. The varieties which were specially excellent in yield were the varieties that were suitable to the seedtimes. 3. In spite of the test put in Fukuoka, many varieties of Taiwan and Ryukyu showed good results. 4. Many of the Taiwan varieties and Ryukyu varities showed great adaptability to Fukuoka Conditions. 5.
