The number of trees per ha showed maximum density in the upper altitude of the mountain, and decreased coming down the mountain towards the lower altitude coastal forest. The basal area of lucidophyllus forest was average 58 m^2 per ha. On the other hand, the artificial forest, the coastal forest, and the mangrove showed the lower value. The number of species tended to decrease with lowering altitude; however it was not clear if this was the case in the lucidophyllus forest. The number structure of species of a life form and plant geography by a layer showed L type distribution fundamentally. Life form distribution carried out layer distribution in response to life form. Coexistence of arboreal and sub-arboreal species was found in the upper part of the mountain as well. The appearance of specific vegetation species reflected the floral element according to topography. The tree layer of lucidophyllus forest was presented with plants of the Sino-Japanese floral region and coastal forest was presented with tropical plants. Also, plant of the central Ryukyu floral region and the Cont.S.E.Asiatic floral region appeared in a low altitude and shrub layer of a lucidophyllus forest.
