Then, squirrel-cage induction generators are widely used as generators in windmill generator system, because of their robustness and cost effectiveness, and capability of asynchronus operation with power grid. However, the induction generators have the diasadvantageous point that the transient rush current amounts to several times as large as the rated value when they are connected to power systems, and causes the voltage variation of the system. Also, as wind energy is influenced by geographic and weather conditions, start-stop operation in very frequent, is unavoidable in this system. Therefore, it is very important to investigate the electrical transient phenomena caused by start-stop operation. In this paper, the authors investigate the electrical transient phenomena using computer simulations, and propose a method of damping the transient rush current of squirrel-cage induction generators., 紀要論文}, pages = {103--106}, title = {風力駆動かご形誘導発電機起動時の突入電流抑制法}, year = {1996} }
