The salt concentration at the discrete volume change depends strongly on the valency of the positive salt ion in the solution. The transition salt comcentration for NaCl is several hundred times larger than the transition MgCl_2 concentration. For NaCl, the first order phase transition is observed at the NaCl concentration of 4 × 10^<-2> mol/l for the 60% acetone-water mixtures.
