We thought that surface of pharyngeal mucosa of recipient infants is also coated by BMsIgA as well as the surface of gastrointestinal tract in mucosa. In order to confirm this we estimated the level of sIgA in pharyngeal mucous among infants with different feeding methods. The mean and standard error of the ratio of sIgA/protein in breastfed (n=18), mixed-fed (n=l5) and formula-fed infants (n=8) were 0.055\u00b10.010, 0.065\u00b10.017 and 0.045\u00b10.010 respectively. There was not significant difference in those values among infants with different feeding methods. The results showed that the levels of sIgA among infants with different feeding methods were not different. The speculation of BMsIgA binding and coating in the pharyngeal mucosa of recipient infants could not be confirmed quantitatively. 内容記述 研究概要:母乳栄養児は、消化器官だけではなく呼吸器感染症の罹患率も、人工栄養児より少ないことがこれまでの疫学調査により明らかにされている。私達は母乳の分泌型IgAが、咽頭の局所免疫にも関与していると考え、咽頭拭い液中の分泌型IgAの定量を試みた。平成11年度は、93人の乳児を対象として咽頭スワブのIgAを測定し、IgA濃度が1-2か月では母乳栄養児で高いことを報告した。平成12年度は、IgA濃度の指標としてIgA/protein比を採用して栄養法別に比較した。1-2か月児の母乳(18人)、混合(15人)、人口栄養児(8人)のIgA/Protein比の平均値と標準誤差は0.055±0.010、0.065±0.017、0.045±0.010であり、3栄養群間に有意の差はみられなかった。3か月以降の乳児でも栄養法別に一定の傾向はみられなかった。このように、IgA/protein比は栄養法別に差がみられなかったことより、咽頭粘液中のIgAは栄養法による量的差がみられないものと考えられる。本研究の成果の一部は第47回日本小児保健学会(高知県)において発表した。
