 note = {Ceratocystis ips Rumbold, a species of the blue staining fungi, was separated from the ascospores formed on some blue stained wood treated in the moist chamber. The blue stained wood was obtained from the cross section of the insect-infected Pinus luchuensis Mayr. This may be the first case to find Ceratocystis ips Rumbold as the blue staining fungi of Pinus luchuensis Mayr.
