Sulfate contents and "K_2Cr_2O_7, consumption" in the dark-colored parts dissolved in the water or oxidized by hydrogen peroxide tend to converge to those of the lisht-colored. The ratio of peak height of X-ray diffractograms between magnesian calcite and dolomite decreases with increasing the ratio of magnesium to calcium (Mg/Ca) dissoled in the solution. In the first portion of the dissolution in flask with the flow of CO_2 gas and in the dissolution in column with dropping CO_2 -saturated water, the ratio of magnesium to calcium in the solution showed higher values than that in other portions and methods. Natural subaerial weathering mechanisms may be represented by the dissolution experiment in flask with the flow of CO_2 gas., 紀要論文}, pages = {120--133}, title = {Dissolution of Carbonates in Central OKINAWA, and TONAKI JIMA, the Ryukyu lslands}, year = {1973} }
