So, data of concrete in other places outside Okinawa often can not be applicable here in Okinawa. We, therefore, have made studies on fundamental properties of materials and concretes. In this paper, we discuss the effect of commonly used additives on properties of concrete made of local materials, and we show the relationships between factors, such as the relationships between water content and slump vallues of plain concrete, unit weight of concrete and air contents, the (W+P+A) and slump values, the v/c and σ28, the bleeding and additives, and so on. Some important conclusions are shown in the following, 1) Due to relatively large value of the unit weight of concrete when used local materials, design value of the unit weight of concrete recommanded in commonly used specifications will not be applicable. 2) The bleeding rates of concrete with additives are much higher than expected. 3) The recommonded formulae showing relaticrnships between cement water ratio and twnty-eighth-day strength are presented. 4) The concrete using carse aggregate of 25mm maximum size needed much smallar amount of water than expected., 紀要論文}, pages = {67--110}, title = {沖縄のコンクリートの基本的性状に関する研究 その1}, year = {1969} }
