They established the equations for the volumetric efficincy affected by the atmospheric air temperature and pressure, intake manifold pressure, and the like. In this paper, the writer tried to confirm the propriety of the above men tioned equations in his experiment, in which he examined the effect on the pressure and temperature in the intake pipe which are affected by the engine performance.
