Their affinity to the aman and tjereh groups was low, and that to the boro group showed middle situation. 3) The seed fertility higher or lower than 87% of seeds from each combination being designated by a plus or minus sign respectively, each group was shown by a combination of six signs (Fig. 4). Having arranged them according to the number and position of plus and minus signs, they were divided into two groups. Japanese, bulu and aman groups belonged to the \"First Group\", and aman, tjereh and boro were classified into the \" Second Group\".
