Furthermore, it has the verture of producing homogenized compressed powder, as the transverse direction pressure is small as compared with the longitudinal pressure, and also minimizing the friction force between powder and die wall than in the case of the longitudinal direction pressure. This paper discusses some experimental and simplified theory on a process of a direct impact of a bullet to powder in the die. In this experiment the powder is assumed to be a homogenized material which is composed of powder particle and air.
