Skin frictional drag force on a flexible plate was measured at the region of Reynolds number Rel=10^4~4.5×10^5by the 220×220mm^2 water tunnel established in the laboratory. Friction coefficient of the flexible plate was higher than that of the rigid reference plate at the low Reynolds number, but the difference became small with the increase of the Reynolds number, and finally, the relation was reversed at Rel=3×10^5. Then, fluttering of the flexible plate was observed. The frequency of the fluttering was proportional to about Rel^<-3/2> at the low Reynolds number and the Strouhal number calculated on the wake width of the plate was constant of 0.012 at the same region., 紀要論文}, pages = {91--100}, title = {柔物体の抵抗に関する研究 第1報 : 一様水流中におかれた柔平板について}, year = {1975} }
