It would be desirable to analytically predict the response of the system if changes were made in a particular component or an additional component was added to the system. The building block approach, described here, is a technique which has been used efficiently for practical application to accompolish the above objectives. In this paper it is revealed that the damping of type model is evaluated from the frequency response curve in terms of this approach.
