 note = {This Study aims to systematize Ryukyuan Dance. The systemtization of Ryukyuan Dance notation leads to the following advantages : 1 ) this study makes it possible to solve the problems rooted in the "style" and "tradition". 2) It makes clarify the aspects of art and uniqueness of the ethnic dance. 3) It makes it easy to compare Ryukyuan Dance and other ethnic dances. 4) It contributes to record the dance and 5) to the reproduction of the dance, 6) It is easier to instruct the dance. 7) It is useful to prevent the extinction of the dance. Each of the following points is symbolized and used for the notation: a) the classification of the stage and namig of them, b) the body parts, c) the direction of the movement, d) the placement/direction of the both hands, arms, foots and legs, e) the movement on the stage, f) the movement of the face and eyes, g) the movenent of the arms and hands and corresponding body parts, h) the movement of the legs and foots, i) the gestures and actions, j) male gestures and female gestures, etc. Further, it is the unique characteristics of this study that the symbolization mentioned above is supported by the corresponding figures and fugo (special expranation of the movement, etc.)., 紀要論文},
