 note = {ハワイがルネッサンスに湧く1970年代、琉球では日本を「祖国」と呼ぶ「復帰」運動が起こっていた。「復帰」40年目にあたる2012年現在、琉球諸語はその特徴である豊かな多様性を残しつつも、若い世代への継承が行われておらず、ユネスコの危機言語レッドブックには琉球諸語のうち六つの言語が登録されている。2006年には「しまくとぅばの条例」が制定され、琉球弧各地においてしまくとぅば復興のための草の根の言語復興運動が展開されており、県庁所在地の那覇では「はいさい運動」など行政の取り組みも起こっているが、政府レベルでの言語政策は存在しない。また言語復興の現場には多文化共生というフレームワークが敷かれており、言語とアイデンティティを同時に語らせるが、インディジニティという自己認識に到達させない仕組みが存在する。本稿では日本が国家=民族と定義し教育してきた背景と「復帰」 に至るプロセスとその結果としてディスエンパワメントされた琉球人の民族意識や言語意識に対するトラウマについて、インディジネスの権利回復運動の中で言語復権を強めたハワイと比較し議論する。, While“1970s”marked the beginning of the Hawaiian Renaissance and cultural practices occurred in Hawai‘i，there was a movement for“Reversion”to the“Fatherland”-Japan, in Ryukyu. 40 years after the “Reversion”，there are verifications going on actively. In the presentation I would like to discuss the language situation and its revitalization movement. Ryukyuan languages still have remained its feature of language diversity，yet those are no longer passed on to young generation and have listed in the UNESCO Red Book of the Endangered Language. However, the Okinawa Prefectural Assembly added “the Day of Shimakutuba (community languages)”to the prefectural calendar in 2006，and there are more people and groups around the Ryukyus，that doing voluntary grass-roots activities to revitalize the languages. Naha municipal office has started the“Haisai/Haitai campaign" to encourage employees to greet in Shimakutuba，yet there is no such language policy at the Japanese governmental level. Previous research has revealed the relationship between language and identity in Japanese multicultural framework but in this presentation I would discuss why Ryukyuan people have tend to avoid recognizing the indigenous identity by review evidence on the“Reversion”， Japanese multicultural framework，and compare with Hawaiian indigenity., 紀要論文},
