The aspectual meaning \"telic accomplishment\" on the static verbs means completion of a state. The meaning \"totality\" means encompassing a state from start to finish. In association with these aspectual features, the textual function of shitu-form are \"occurring in succession\" and \"closing a scene\". The tensal meaning \"past\" expresses a temporary previous state of speaker, or an existence or a character of others which speaker perceived before the time of speech. In other words, it is a meaning \"past\" extracted by focusing on the time of perception.
