 note = {In this examination, we studied on the behavior of one Okinawa rail which indicated peculiar behavior in around the road for periodically. From May to September, Food search and preening behavior was observed at vacant lot around the road (road: asphalt). In September, we observed the nesting behavior on the tree (Okinawa pine tree). Its suggested that this Okinawa rail is living for range of livelihood at around the road., 本試験では道路周辺の定点調査において特異的な行動を示した個体の行動を分析した.5月から9月までは，比較的多くの時間，道路横の空き地にて探餌および毛繕い行動が連続的に観察された．また，9月には道路横のリュウキュウマツの樹上で休息する行動が観察された．このように本個体は，比較的車両等が多く往来する道路付近を主な生活圏としている可能性が示された．今後，このような個体がどの程度いるのかなど，我々ヒトとヤンバルクイナ生活圏の重複などについて調査することは共存を考えていく上で重要であろう．, 紀要論文},
