We administrated individual interview to 5 chief staff of the 6 groups. Main findings were as followed: 10 users per 1 day attended the groups and 7 staff offered services. They provided \"the support for entrance or attendance\". which included the outreach program and the consulting serveces about HIKIKOMORI with telephone, E-mail. and Fax. They also presented the \"accompanying support\" (support like an escort car) and \"exit support\" (final stage of getting jobs). which included attending somewhere. day services. support for job seekers, learning support, and psychological and career counseling in needed. They held lecture meetings of HIKIKOMORI for the enlightement activities and introduced their activities in periodicals (e.g., newsletters). The feature of HIKIKOMORI in OKINAWA was the higher rate of people with the household on welfare or the disability pension than the national average of Japan.
