 note = {Using acidic newspaper for reinforcing rare books declines their preservation rate. Such a typical case was observed in the 4-volumes Iro-Setsuden in the Iha Fuyu collection. Acid neutralization and restoration work made it possible for us to read the old newspaper precisely. The newspapers used for reinforcement of the book were issued in Osaka and Tokyo, both of which were distributed nationwide. The former newspaper was delivered along with a supplementary Kyushu edition. Considering the published dates of these editions, it can be concluded that the 4-volumes Iro-Setsuden were bound in 1924 at Okinawa when Iha Fuyu was working as the director of Okinawa Library., 紀要論文},
