access","subitem_1600958577026":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2"}]},"item_1617186609386":{"attribute_name":"Subject","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_1522299896455":"ja","subitem_1522300014469":"Other","subitem_1523261968819":"語構成"},{"subitem_1522299896455":"ja","subitem_1522300014469":"Other","subitem_1523261968819":"微地形"},{"subitem_1522299896455":"ja","subitem_1522300014469":"Other","subitem_1523261968819":"海産生物"},{"subitem_1522299896455":"ja","subitem_1522300014469":"Other","subitem_1523261968819":"漁撈活動"},{"subitem_1522299896455":"ja","subitem_1522300014469":"Other","subitem_1523261968819":"結節地名"}]},"item_1617186626617":{"attribute_name":"Description","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"きわめて稀有なことであるが、今から35年も前の1977年に、南城市知念の漁民の手によって自らの漁場の地名図が作られた。そこにはおよそ200の地名が記載されてある。縁あって、この地名図を分析することになった筆者らは、まずは地名図に記されている地名語彙を整理し、一つ一つの地名の意味を解明することをめざし、その海に詳しい漁民からの聞き書きを重ねることにした。南城市知念のサンゴ礁は、沖縄島のなかで最も幅広いサンゴ礁の一つであり、広大なイノー(浅礁湖)には多様な微地形がみられ、その微地形を巧みに利用した網漁など、さまざまな漁撈活動が営まれてきた。地名語彙を分析した結果、全体の3分の2の地名に語基として地形語が組み入れられていることがわかった。その地形語彙は、未詳語を除いても30種類を超えている。地名の接頭辞として最も多いのは、「陸上地名」ではなく海のなかの「周辺地名」であった。他の地域では「陸上地名」を海に延長して名づけが施されている割合が比較的高いが、南城市では、サンゴ礁の海にある「周辺地名」から分岐・派生して命名された地名が最も多く全体の約21%にも及んでいる。また、1つの地名から最大4つの地名が分岐している。分岐した地名を起点にしてさらに別の地名を生成しているケースが4例あった。広大なサンゴ礁空間では、そのような命名法による地名形成が有効であったと考えられる。また、海産生物を接頭辞とする地名が17%、漁撈活動にちなむ地名が4%である。地名は単なる記号ではなく、地名のなかにはサンゴ礁の微地形、水産生物、漁撈活動などさまざまな海の知識が織り込まれている。地名を知っていることは、漁場知識を獲得していることでもある。サンゴ礁の特定の場所に付けられた地名(place-names) のなかには、その場所(places)
