内容記述 パミスサンドを用いたトマト栽培において,栽培に適した培地の水分状態について知見を得るため, 施用する培養液量の違いが果重,果実の糖度および硬度に及ぼす影響を検討した.処理区はpF値を元に施用量の異なる3区を設け,第一果房から第三果房までを調査した.トマトの平均果重では,いずれの果房でも多湿区が最大値を,乾燥区が最小値を示し,対照区は25g前後の値を維持した.一方,糖度は多湿区が最も低く,乾燥区が最も高かったが,対照区でも7~8 % と比較的高い値であった.また,硬度は果房順位が上がるにつれて乾燥区の値がわずかに上昇したが, 他の処理区との大きな差はみられなかった. これらの結果より ,パミスサンドの培地を対照区に設定したpF2.0に維持することで,果重および糖度が安定した果実生産ができることが示された. さらに,培地の乾燥化による高糖度トマトの生産についての知見も得られた.
