Design and Methods: The questionnaires were sent to 60 public high school principals in Okinawa by mail. Questions included in the field of the current status and the issues on the school safety, and the risk management Respondents W=55) completed the questionnaire on the types of issues of the school safety and the risk management which schools have faced, and seminars or lectures principals would like to give teachers. Results: Thirty-eight principals would like to give their teachers seminars or lectures focused on how to deal with the accidents and incidents at schools on the legal basis. Thirty-five principals also hoped the emergency measures to give to teachers. Principals also recommended teachers take the seminars on the traffic accidents and how to deal with the victims of crimes suffering from the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PfSD) . As issues to give effective lectures to teachers, the principals mentioned that securing the required the number of classes, the budget, the human resources are very important to give seminar lectures. Implications: The school safety and risk management are essential for principals to give students meaningful school life to enjoy at schools. Therefore, principals and schools should pay much more attention to school safety through seminars or lectures for teachers.
