内容記述 分枝鎖脂肪酸の抗がん活性の発現メカニズムを探るため,特殊な炭素鎖構造をもっ脂肪酸の乳がん細胞脂質への取り込みを調べ,脂肪酸炭素鎖の化学構造と細胞毒性との関連性について検討した。培地に添加されたすべての脂肪酸はリン脂質よりもトリグリセリドに優先的に取り込まれ,分枝鎖脂肪酸については主鎖の炭素数が14の脂肪酸が13のものよりも取り込み率が高い傾向にあった。シクロアルキル基をもっ脂肪酸の取り込みは分枝鎖脂肪酸よりも低い傾向にあった。ヒドロキシ脂肪酸の取り込みは分校鎖脂肪酸とほぼ同程度と見積もられた。分枝鎖脂肪酸のD50 は他の脂肪酸よりも低い傾向にあり,シクロアルキル基をもっ脂肪酸およびヒドロキシ脂肪酸のD50 は直鎖脂肪酸と同程度か高い傾向にあった。主鎖の炭素数は同一で化学構造が異なる脂肪酸の細胞毒性を比較すると,分枝鎖脂肪酸についてのみ乳がん細胞に対する細胞毒性が認められ,分校鎖の化学構造が細胞毒性と関連していることが示唆された。
