 note = {Three species of lefteye flounders, genus Engyprosopon, E. grandisquama (8 specimens, 56.2–77.5 mm SL); E. macrolepis (4 specimens, 36.8–59.0 mm SL); and Engyprosopon sp. (one specimen, 51.6 mm SL) were collected and described from shore waters of Okinawa-jima Island, Ryukyu Archipelago. This report represents the first records of Engyprosopon macrolepis and E. sp. and the second record of E. grandisquama from the Ryukyu Archipelago., 琉球列島からダルマガレイ科ダルマガレイ属魚類に属するダルマガレイ E. grandisquama (Temminck & Schlegel, 1846) およびホシゾラダルマガレイ Engyprosopon macrolepis (Regan, 1908) が沖縄島から採集された. ホシゾラダルマガレイは琉球列島における初記録種であり, ダルマガレイは標本に基づいた再記録である.  また, 沖縄島から得られた 1 標本はヒメダルマガレイ E. longipelvis Amaoka, 1969に酷似していたが, 標徴が一致しないためEngyprosopon sp. として記載し, 類似種との相違点を示した., 論文},
