It concentrates on two of aforementioned organizations, “Onna yakusha” and “Yonyaku-no tsuma” seen in Arakawa, Ishigaki island. Foundations of both of them lie in social status created during Ryukyu Kingdom era. The “Onna yakusha” organization is based on former representative of farmer’s status and “Yonyaku-no tsuma” organization is based on former representative of nobleman status. Moreover, historical records contain evidence that there was a connection between “Onna yakusha” organization and “Bunazi”, which was the organization of administrative workers of Ryukyu Kingdom period.
