 note = {本論文は1771 年の夏に奄美大島へ東欧人が寄港した事件について、ロシア語資料を日本語に翻訳し、日本語文献資料との比較をしながら当時の状況について考察するものである。本事件については、『大島代官記』と指導者ベニョフスキ伯爵の『回想記』に参照されているが、同行者のイヴァン・リュミンの資料は未だ検討されていない。本論では、リュミンの記録にある奄美大島に関する一章を日本語に抄訳し、日本の現地史料およびベニョフスキの記述と比較しながら本事件について考察する。リュミンの記録は単純な叙述だが、奄美大島の伊須集落の民族誌的記述および環境の詳細かつ正確な観察を含む。それゆえ、『回想記』の補足的資料としてだけではなく、近世奄美に関する独自の記述としても再検討すべきである。, This paper is an investigation into an event of Eastern Europeans’ arrival on Amami Ōshima Island in the summer of 1771. This unexpected incident, which can be found in Satsuma governor’s record - Ōshima daikanki, is usually compared with the infamous account of the group leader Count Benyowsky’s Memoirs and Travels. However, the account of his fellow escapee - Ivan Ryumin has not yet been well considered. Therefore, this is the first Japanese translation of the part concerning Amami Ōshima, followed by its analysis and brief comparison with the Japanese sources and Benyowsky’s account. Ryumin’s report appears to be very straightforward narrative, and yet detailed and accurate ethnographical and environmental observations are made on Isu in Amami Ōshima. Hence the present material needs our reconsideration as original foreign account on the early modern Amami, not just as a cross-reference for the Memoirs and Travels., 紀要論文},
